Privacy policy

This policy explains what V4U Group (V4U Holidays and V4U Visa Consultancy, Vadodara) collects on this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skipped. It applies to the website only; what you share with a counsellor in person or on WhatsApp is covered by the same principles and by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

When you enquire. Your name and mobile number (required), and whatever else you choose to give us: email, destination or country, travel dates, number of travellers, budget, and your message. We also record the page the enquiry came from and any campaign tags in the address (utm parameters), so we know which pages lead to enquiries.

When you use WhatsApp or call. Nothing beyond what WhatsApp or your phone network records; we see the message or the call like any business would.

When you browse. With your consent (the banner at the bottom of the page), analytics cookies from Google Analytics, Meta and Google Ads record which pages you visit and whether you enquired, so we can measure our own advertising. Without consent, none of these load, and the site works exactly the same.

Technical. Our hosting provider records the usual server logs (address, page, time) for security and to keep the site running; these are not used to profile you.

Why

To answer your enquiry: a counsellor at the right desk calls or messages you back. To keep a record of the enquiry in our customer system so the same counsellor can pick up where you left off. To measure which pages and campaigns work, in aggregate. Nothing else. We do not sell your details and we do not share them with other businesses for their marketing.

Where it goes

Enquiries are emailed to the desk's inbox (Google Workspace) and stored in our customer relationship system, hosted by Onewebmart. Analytics data, if you consented, goes to Google and Meta under their own policies. Visa applications you ask us to file go to the mission concerned, on your instruction, with the documents you give us.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and application records: as long as we are working with you, and then for the period Indian tax and record-keeping law requires. Analytics: per the providers' retention settings, which we set to the shortest available. You can ask us to delete an enquiry at any time; if there is a legal reason we must keep part of it, we will say which part and why.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and withdraw consent for analytics at any time (clear your browser's site data and choose "Essential only" when the banner returns). Write to the desk email on the contact page or call the office; we reply within a week. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the Act.

Children

We do not knowingly collect details of children through the website. Family enquiries are made by an adult; children's details for a booking or a visa are collected from the parent or guardian in person.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date below changes with it, and material changes are noted here for six months.
