What to know before you go
Singapore and Malaysia is the children's trip: Universal Studios, the Night Safari, Sentosa's cable car and the S.E.A. Aquarium in Singapore; then a coach or short flight to Kuala Lumpur for the Petronas towers, Batu Caves and a day at Genting Highlands. It is clean, safe, easy to walk, and the food courts have more vegetarian options than people expect.
Singapore needs a visa arranged in advance for Indian passports, which our visa desk handles; Malaysia has been visa-free for short visits since 2024. We confirm both at booking because these rules move.
Singapore is expensive by day; we keep the hotel sensible and spend the money on the attractions, which are pre-booked with timed entry so a family with small children does not queue in the heat.
