The short version
Indian passport holders need a visa for Singapore, applied for online through an authorised visa agent or a local contact, not directly by the traveller. The visa is electronic, usually issued for multiple entries over a validity of a few weeks to two years at the immigration authority’s discretion, with each stay limited to 30 days. It is one of the simplest files we handle and it sits alongside our Singapore–Malaysia packages: send us the documents and the visa is normally back before the hotels are confirmed.
Who needs a visa
Indian passport holders need a visa to visit Singapore for tourism or business, applied for through an authorised visa agent or a local contact. It is issued electronically. Transit without leaving the airport does not need one; a valid visa for the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan or Switzerland gives a limited visa-free transit facility that we confirm before you rely on it.

Document checklist

Passport and photographs
- Passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay, with two blank pages
- Previous passports, if any
- Recent photographs to the mission’s specification (size and background differ by country)
Application
- Completed Form 14A, signed
- Recent colour photograph to ICA specification
- Confirmed flights and hotel bookings, or a letter of introduction from a Singapore resident
- Employment letter or business proof, and recent bank statements

Why Singapore applications get refused
