Day by day
4 days, 3 nights. Every day below can move; this is the shape we start from.
Day 1
Vadodara to Sasan Gir
Drive via Rajkot and Junagadh (about eight hours with stops). Evening at the resort; safari permits confirmed for the next morning.
Day 2
Gir safari
Dawn jeep safari in the Gir National Park with a forest guide. Afternoon at leisure or the Devalia interpretation zone for a second sighting chance. Night at Sasan.
Day 3
Somnath
Drive to Somnath (about two hours). Temple darshan, the Bhalka Tirth, the sound-and-light show in the evening and the sunset aarti at the sea.
Day 4
Somnath to Vadodara
Morning darshan for those who want it, then the drive home via Junagadh with an optional stop at the Uparkot fort.
