Day by day
4 days, 3 nights. Every day below can move; this is the shape we start from.
Day 1
Vadodara to Bhuj
Overnight train or a full day by road via Ahmedabad and Morbi. Check in at Bhuj. Evening at Hamirsar lake and the Aina Mahal if time allows.
Day 2
Bhuj to the White Rann
Bhujodi and Ajrakhpur for weavers and block printers, then Kala Dungar (Black Hill) for the view over the salt flats. Check in at the tent city or a resort at Dhordo and go out onto the White Rann for sunset and the moonrise.
Day 3
Mandvi and the coast
Vijay Vilas palace and Mandvi beach, with the ship-building yard on the creek. Back to Bhuj for the night, or a second night at Dhordo on the full-moon dates.
Day 4
Bhuj to Vadodara
Morning at leisure, then the return by train or road. Dholavira can be added as a fifth day for those interested in the Harappan site.
