Day by day

7 days, 6 nights. Every day below can move; this is the shape we start from.

Day 1
Chandigarh to Shimla
Met at Chandigarh airport or station and driven up to Shimla (about four hours). Evening walk on the Mall Road and the Ridge.
Day 2
Shimla and Kufri
Kufri for the views and pony rides, Jakhu temple, and the Viceregal Lodge. Evening at leisure.
Day 3
Shimla to Manali
A long day by road along the Beas (seven to eight hours) with stops at Kullu for river rafting in season and the Vaishno Devi temple.
Day 4
Manali: Solang and the Atal Tunnel
Solang valley for the ropeway and activities, then through the Atal Tunnel to Sissu for the Lahaul views. Back to Manali.
Day 5
Manali local
Hadimba temple, Vashisht hot springs, Old Manali and the Mall Road. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 6
Manali to Chandigarh
Drive down to Chandigarh (eight hours) with a lunch stop at Mandi or Bilaspur. Night in Chandigarh.
Day 7
Depart Chandigarh
Rock Garden and Sukhna lake if the flight is in the afternoon, then transfer to the airport.
